This sculpture is inspired by an ancient Central Asian legend about the human heart and the meaning of life. According to the legend, every time we let someone into our lives, we offer them a piece of our heart. Sometimes, they give a piece in return—and sometimes they don't.
Yet even through pain or rejection, the purpose remains the same: to live fully, to feel deeply, and to share our lives with others.
The sculpture reflects this philosophy—showing a heart that’s not whole, but still radiant and alive. It’s a tribute to the emotional richness of human connection, and to the quiet strength it takes to keep giving, even when the outcome is uncertain.
It reminds us that a meaningful life isn't defined by perfection or protection, but by generosity, experience, and courage.
