In this scene from the short film Alma (created during my time at VFS), I worked as one of the set decorators for the “magic shop” location. The character meets the magician—symbolically her “divine purpose in life.” Our task was to create a set that felt both timeless and magical.
I designed and crafted papier-mâché objects, wooden lamps, and aged fabric elements, focusing on creating the “ancient” part of the space. It was a perfect example of how collaboration and creativity can replace experience or budget—and still result in a visually rich story.
